Kitchen Helper

Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Helper and play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our food service environment. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety practices. As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist chefs with dishwashing, cleaning and light food prep. Duties Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Support with food handling and storage procedures, with help stocking shelves, taking out boxes and trash. Follow food safety standards Ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to sanitation guidelines throughout the kitchen. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen department role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation is beneficial. Experience in the food industry or culinary settings demonstrates a strong foundation for this role. A positive attitude towards teamwork and a keen eye for cleanliness are essential for success.
