Position: Golf Professional (Seasonal) – Golf Operations Seasonal Golf ProfessionalJoin our team as a Seasonal Golf Professional and help deliver an exceptional golf experience for our guests. In this role, you'll support daily golf operations, provide instruction, and ensure a high level of customer service on and off the course. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about golf, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences in a resort setting.Position DetailsEmployment Type: SeasonalShift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays)Department: Golf OperationsWhat You'll DoProvide excellent guest service to golfers, ensuring a positive and professional experienceAssist with daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, pace of play, and course flowConduct individual and group golf lessons, clinics, and instructional programsSupport and coordinate tournaments, outings, and special golf eventsAssist with merchandising and sales in the golf shop, including POS transactionsMaintain accurate tee times, reservations, and guest records using golf management systemsEnforce course rules, policies, and safety standardsMonitor course conditions and communicate with maintenance staff as neededAssist with opening and closing procedures for the golf shop and practice facilitiesProvide knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and resort amenities to guestsSupport junior golf programs and player development initiativesMaintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and practice areasPerform additional duties as assigned by golf leadershipRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in golf management or related field preferredPrevious golf operations, golf instruction, or golf course experience preferredPGA Apprentice or PGA Professional status preferred (or desire to pursue PGA certification)Strong knowledge of the game of golf, rules, and etiquetteExperience with POS systems and tee sheet management software preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to teach and engage golfers of all skill levelsProfessional appearance and customer-focused attitudeReliable, punctual, and team-orientedPhysical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40lbs occasionallyFrequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motionAbility to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditionsWork EnvironmentOutdoor golf course setting with indoor golf shop operationsFrequent interaction with guests, members, and team membersExposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, sun, wind, and rainRequires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak golf seasonActive, guest-facing role requiring multitasking and continuous engagementAbout Lake Lawn ResortLocated on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort is a premier hospitality destination known for exceptional service and a strong team culture.
