About the Role

The Buckingham Golf Club – Golf Course Superintendent
Position: Golf Course Superintendent
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, supervise, and execute maintenance across all course areas (greens, tees, fairways, bunkers).
• Manage a seasonal team of approximately ten employees.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget.
• Optimize turf health and quality through fertilization and aeration.
• Monitor irrigation systems and schedule equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with pesticide regulations.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience as a superintendent or assistant.
• Degree in agronomy, turf science, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills and in‑depth knowledge of turf management.
Compensation: Year‑round employment with a salary ranging from $65,000 to $90,000 per year, plus benefits such as a seasonal golf card and a continuing education allowance.
Desired start: as soon as possible, ideally before spring 2025.
The Metcalfe Golf Club – Equipment Manager / Mechanic
Position: Equipment Manager / Mechanic (Full‑time, salaried, 12‑month)
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain all golf course equipment, including a fleet of 90 golf carts.
• Keep detailed maintenance records.
• Train staff on equipment operation.
• Maintain a safe and clean shop environment.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings and weekends.
Qualifications:
• Minimum two years of mechanic experience.
• Strong skills in small engine and diesel repair, welding, electrical diagnosis, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in grinding reels and bedknives, and fabricating tools.
