Position: Golf Teaching Professional
Location: South Jersey Golf Schools at the Big Swing Golf Center – 312 Salina Road, Sewell, NJ 08080
Reports to: Head Golf Professional/Director of Instruction

About The South Jersey Golf Schools
The South Jersey Golf Schools are the oldest, most established golf school in New Jersey. Founded in1980, we started with just one golf camp, and have gone on to run hundreds of groups, camps, special events, junior leagues, and private lessons. We're located at a state of the art 28 acre practice facility, featuring In Range technology and an indoor simulator. The facility has a double decker indoor/outdoor driving range, with an indoor classroom. South Jersey Golf Schools hosts group lessons, camps, special events for corporations/outings, as well as private lessons.

Job Description
The Golf Teaching Professional is responsible for providing lessons and conducting clinics with exceptional customer service. They will also help organize events and provide input for programming while ensuring an outstanding golf experience for members and guests. This is a part-time position with a future opportunity of becoming a full-time position based on demand and performance. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
• Provide high quality lessons for players of all ages and skill levels, including private, semi-private, and group lessons.
• Teach clinics and camps and help with social events to promote golf at the facility.
• Maintain a professional, energetic and positive attitude while representing the SJGS.
• Maintain high quality standards for golf and facility operations.
• Provide personalized service to clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
• Attending weekly staff meetings, where we discuss programs and future goals.
Skills & Qualifications
• Certified golf coach with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. PGA or USGTF Certified highly recommended.
• Four year college degree.
• Existing eligibility to work in the US.
• Teaching skills to coach all levels and ages of players and create appropriate programming and offerings for the players.
• Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and industry trends.
• Passionate about golf and growing the sport in the community.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage clients and create programming.
• Self motivated, results driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for events.
• Excellent organizational, accounting and communication skills
