Shady Canyon Golf Club is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Greenkeeper I to perform essential maintenance duties for our golf course and surrounding landscape. This role involves operating light motorized equipment and performing various tasks to ensure the golf course is kept in pristine condition.

Skills
Experience with golf course maintenance preferred
Knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Proficient in utilizing hand tools and landscaping equipment safely
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Responsibilities
Operate light motorized equipment to maintain the golf course
Walk mow greens and hand rake bunkers
Utilize rotary push mower and string line trimmer around bunkers, greens, and tees
Set up tee marker positions, perform divot repair, and maintain fairways using a pull-behind blower
Conduct landscape pruning, weed control, and debris removal across the property
Hand water plants and assist in plant material installation and care
Clean equipment and maintain the shop’s interior and exterior
Assist in renovation projects and perform related duties as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications
Previous golf course maintenance experience preferred
Possession of a valid driver’s license preferred

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
