At BrightView, we create and maintain the best teams. If you're seeking a fulfilling career, imagine yourself on a top-tier team where you can grow and shine. We are looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Here’s what you’d do:

The superintendent manages the maintenance, operation, and management of the golf course. You will act as a liaison between the company, customer representatives, and the golf shop regarding daily course operations. You should be easily reachable and maintain contact with key golf course staff at all times. Both the superintendent and assistant must respond quickly to any situation.
You’d be responsible for:
• Assisting in organizing and directing maintenance across all areas within scope and according to technical specifications.
• Supervising the operation, maintenance, and repair of all course equipment.
• Managing supplies and materials for maintenance activities.
• Managing golf course maintenance staff, including hiring, training, discipline, and separation processes.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and administrative duties.
• Administering BrightView Safety and BV360 Management Programs.
• Representing BrightView Golf Maintenance professionally in attitude, appearance, and public relations.
• Meeting or exceeding customer expectations internally and externally.
You might be a good fit if you have:
• Experience in golf course management and turf culture (preferred).
• A degree or advanced knowledge of agronomy, horticulture, or soil science (preferred).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state-sanctioned pesticide applicator license within 6 months.
And it would be great if you also have:
• Knowledge of golf course construction, establishment, and maintenance practices.
• Strong administrative, communication, and computer skills.
• Understanding of fertilizers, soil conditioners, irrigation systems, and drainage.
• Ability to prepare the course for play and evaluate it from a player's perspective.
• Valid driver’s license.
