Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year depending on experience
Druid Hills Golf Club, a premier private club in Atlanta, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee our food outlet operations. The Food Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional member service, managing the staff, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in food and beverage offerings. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record of success in restaurant management. This position is part of a rotational manager program to gain experience and lead different food service outlets within the operation.
Responsibilities
Provides innovative ideas to elevate the dining experience for members and their guests. Oversee the day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance of operational standardsContinuously train and develop staff on service standards, menu offerings, and overall customer experienceEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing any issues or concernsMonitor food and beverage quality and presentation to ensure adherence to standardsEnforce health and safety protocols in accordance with local regulationsPrepare and analyze financial reports, monitor expenses, and make recommendations to improve profitabilityAssist in the planning and execution of special events and private partiesInterviews and hires service staffConducts performance reviews for direct reports. Handles member complaints in a professional manner
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferredMinimum of 4 years of experience in restaurant managementDemonstrated leadership and team-building skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost controlAbility to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisionsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systemsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
