Junior Golf Instructor at Golf Camp/After school classes

After-school golf classes will begin the week of April 21 at 3 locations on Long Island. Heartland Golf Park, Peninsula Golf Club, and Cantiague Park. Classes will run from 5pm - 7:30 on weekdays. Positions are available for Lead Instructor roles and for Assistant Instructor roles. Pay for after school golf classes is $30/hour for an Assistant and $45/hour for Lead Instructors. Both playing and teaching instruction is required for Lead Instructors, with playing experience required for assistant instructors. Instruction training will be offered to all successful candidates. The qualified candidate for the position of Main Golf Camp Counselor would need to have 2 years of golf instruction experience at a golf course, a golf driving range, or coaching a golf team at the High School or College level. It would be preferred if the candidate has experience either teaching golf to children or supervising children in a school, camp or day care setting. For Assistant Counselor positions, the candidate must be 18 years or older and have played golf on a team at the High School or College level. The positions for Golf Camp Counselors require the candidate to be available to work the months of July and August in the Long Island, NY area. Work hours will be from 9:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday, or if hired at a half day camp, from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Compensation is between $600 and $850 per week depending on location and experience for a full day camp and $300-350 for a half day camp.
