About Kearsley Community Schools
Kearsley Community Schools serves approximately 2,800 students across four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Kearsley Athletics has a strong tradition of competitive excellence, student development, and community pride. The district continues to invest in athletic and student opportunities, including a new community recreation facility featuring a 1,500-seat competitive gymnasium, indoor track, and dedicated training spaces.
Recent Athletic Accomplishments Include
Girls Bowling — 2026 MHSAA Division 2 State Champions, earning the program's 11th state title since 2012Boys Bowling — Back-to-back MHSAA Division 2 State Champions in 2025 and 2026Boys Basketball — 2025 Flint Metro League Champions

Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with applicable coaching experienceThe applicant must have a minimum of three years experience in dealing successfully with teenagersPreference will be given to those holding a teaching certificateThe applicant must be able to demonstrate a history of positive working relationships with athletes and their parentsThe applicant must be knowledgeable, organized, enthusiastic and willing to invest the necessary time in the program to bring about qualityThe applicant must have the necessary mental/physical ability and stamina to successfully perform assigned responsibilitiesThe applicant must successfully complete a Live Scan Criminal Records check
