About the Role

This role owns two distinct halves of the job: overseeing the team that maintains our common areas and open lots and serving as the front-facing landscape expert for members, designing and managing landscape projects for new home builds and homeowner yard redesigns. WindRiver Lakefront & Golf Community is an 800-acre gated lake and golf community on Tellico Lake in East Tennessee, featuring a Bob Cupp-designed championship golf course, a 222-slip marina, and 30 miles of trails.
Landscape Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations for landscape maintenance across common areas, entrances, trails, medians, and vacant lots
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners on landscape design and installation, new home builds and yard redesign projects alike
- Review construction and design plans, and coordinate with builders, contractors, and the Design Review Board to execute installs on time and to standard
- Supervise, schedule, and develop a crew of technicians, laborers, and seasonal staff
- Own the landscaping budget, project estimating/quoting, and equipment management
- Champion safety compliance (OSHA, DOL, pesticide/environmental regulations) across all jobsites
- Represent WindRiver as an ambassador in all member and community interactions
