About the Role
Job Overview
The Sugarmill Woods Country Club seeks an energetic Food & Beverage Front of House (FOH) Supervisor. You will lead daily dining operations, train service staff, and coordinate exclusive member events. This role reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager to maintain our high-end service standards.
Responsibilities
Staff Leadership: Train, schedule, and supervise FOH staff daily.
Service Standards: Maintain premium hospitality benchmarks for club members.
Event Coordination: Lead setup and execution for banquets and private events.
Managerial Support: Assist the F&B Manager with inventory, ordering, and admin tasks.
Floor Presence: Resolve member complaints swiftly and professionally during shifts.
Requirements
Knowledge of food service management, including food handling, kitchen operations, and hospitality practices
Familiarity with POS systems
Background in fine dining or casual dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shifts efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards
Excellent communication skills for staff training, customer interactions, and team coordination
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles preferred
