About the Role
Farmington Country Club presents an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our dynamic Food and
Beverage Operations team as a 10th Tee Snack & Beverage Bar Attendant. This role is essential to delivering fast, friendly,
and efficient service to our members and their guests throughout the golf season. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-
volume, fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and takes pride in providing warm, attentive service in every
interaction.
The 10th Tee is our quick-service, grab-and-go snack and beverage stop located on Farmington’s beautiful golf course
between holes 9 and 10. It is a key touchpoint in the member experience—giving golfers a chance to refresh, refuel, and
get back on the course quickly. From maintaining a clean, well-stocked station to preparing and serving classic golf-
course favorites, the 10th Tee Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless, enjoyable experience for our
membership during their round.
Operating Hours:
Monday-Sunday 10:00am-6pm
Shifts:
9:00am-7:00pm
Responsibilities:
• Be familiar with all menu items;
• Greet members by name;
• Maintain operations side-work duties and maintain general cleanliness of kitchen, attendant service area, bathrooms and surroundings;
• Serve members/guests quickly and efficiently;
• Verify name and account number for every member; charge member’s account accurately;
• Set up, maintain and break down workstation according to standards;
• Assist, when needed, in serving members quickly and efficiently at the Lower Caddy on busy golf days;
• Maintain daily cleanliness and stock of Lower Caddy and Performance Center;
• Maintain high level of Professionalism while being alone for extended periods of time;
• Maintain and adhere to sanitation and food handling practices according to Club and health department standards;
• Adhere to state, local and Club health and safety regulations;
• Requisition necessary product for following day and submit to Purchasing Manager and/or Culinary Team;
• Complete opening and closing check lists;
• Ask for identification for anyone ordering alcohol who appears to be under the age of 30;
• Adhere to Virginia ABC Laws;
• Gain and maintain cocktail, wine and beer knowledge and safe alcohol handling;
• Follow checklists for opening, closing and clean-up duties;
• Maintain outside table cleanliness throughout shift;
• Advise manager of member concerns and suggestions;
• Complete assigned duties thoroughly and in a timely manner;
• Maintain par levels for food and beverages – anticipate and be prepared for busier time periods;
• Handle cash transactions and manage a cash box during certain golf tournaments
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older by March 1st;
• Able to lift, carry, and move up to thirty (30) pounds without assistance;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications;
• Ability to stand for a minimum of six (6) consecutive hours;
• Must be available minimum of 2 days a week;
• High level of professionalism is required;
