Overview Join our dynamic facilities team as a Golf Course/Restaurant Custodian and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. This energetic position offers the opportunity to ensure that our facilities meet high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that support the overall functionality and appearance of our Club house, Pro Shop, Restaurant and exterior spaces. Your dedication to quality and safety will help create an inviting space for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Job Details Part Time (Seasonal options available) Schedule: Early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts vary based on tournament and banquet schedules Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures to ensure sanitation and safety standards are met. Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain hygiene standards. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance. Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs and reporting larger issues for prompt resolution. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly and maintained in good working order. Maintain exterior walkways, patios, staging areas and areas surrounding the practice greens by removing debris and ensuring a clean, safe environment. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle chemical agents safely according to safety protocol guidelines. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums is highly desirable. Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining clean environments in both residential and commercial facilities. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices to prevent injury. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and visitors. Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep is a plus.
