Role Overview: As a Golf Course Maintenance Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our golf course is maintained to the highest standards. Your expertise in turf management and landscaping will contribute to creating a visually stunning and playable golf course. Key Responsibilities: • Mow greens, fairways, tees, and roughs to maintain ideal heights. • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides following safety guidelines and agronomy plans. • Monitor irrigation systems to ensure optimal moisture levels. • Identify and manage turf issues, including pests and diseases. • Operate and maintain powered equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality. • Enhance and maintain landscaping around the clubhouse. • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. • Assist with the construction and upkeep of golf course features such as greens and bunkers. • Keep golf course areas free of debris and well-maintained. • Complete daily tasks to meet high club standards. Additional Responsibilities: • Support team members and take on additional tasks as required. • Adhere to club policies and maintain professionalism in all interactions. • Promote safety practices and comply with safety guidelines. • Engage in personal and professional development, maintaining relevant certifications. • Communicate effectively in daily briefings to contribute to team success. About You: Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: • Knowledge of landscape management or groundskeeping maintenance. Physical Requirements: This role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions, including heat and humidity. Tasks may require lifting up to 100 lbs. and operating equipment.
