Assistant Golf Professional

Overview Eagle's Landing Country Club is a private country club located 25 minutes South of downtown Atlanta. We have 27 holes designed by Tom Fazio and are former hosts of the LPGA Chic-Fil-A Classic and World Lond Drive Championships. Experience Required • PGA or LPGA Member or Associate actively pursuing membership • Candidates with PGA Class A certification or PGA Associate in level 1 or greater. • Experience in golf operations management, budgeting, merchandising • Ability to oversee and manage aspects of the Golf Operation, tournament administration & software, as well as proficiency with golf management POS & software programs • Individuals with experience in instruction and staff management. • Proficient using Excel and Microsoft Word; experience with Unknown Golf software Essential Responsibilities • Assist the Head Golf Professional with all daily operational functions including member/guest fees, merchandising, handicap system, accounting, recordkeeping and tournament programs • Provide services that meet or exceed the expectations of the members and guests • Promote and expand system, accounting, recordkeeping and tournament programs player involvement • Interact with members and guests to provide a most rewarding golf experience • Daily communication with the course maintenance staff to ensure the course is prepared and for any notifications/restrictions that need to be posted. • Develop instructional programs that benefit the playability of the members and families • Train and supervise outside golf operations staff • Enforce course rules and guidelines as established by the Golf Committee • Must have strong computer skills Benefits • Hourly based on experience level • Group Health Insurance • PGA dues reimbursement • Clothing allowance • Lessons and clinics • Encouraged to play golf with members
