We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Key ResponsibilitiesWhen acting as an staff member:Performs clerk/cashier-like dutiesProcesses customer reservations for guests of the golf courseProvides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in processArranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directedCollects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes transactions in the POS system as trainedAssists in maintaining a clean, safe workplaceAssists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the close of dayEnsures property and its amenities are secured dailyAssists with the setup of equipment and golf cartsPerforms related duties as assigned by the General ManagerWhen acting as an Outside staff member:Performs Starter/Ranger-like dutiesWelcomes and greets guests and players in a friendly mannerExplains rules and course etiquette to all groups if neededWashes and sanitizes the golf cart fleet; maintains organized storage areas and practice facilityAssists with the setup and organization of golf carts and equipment for regular tee time starts or outingsFacilitates an orderly and timely pace of play to prevent delaysAnswers all questions in a friendly mannerKeeps a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessaryEnsures that each group has four players if possibleCollects and cleans practice balls when scheduledEnsures property and its amenities are secured dailyPerforms related duties as assigned by the General ManagerQualifications, Experience, and Skill RequirementsMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be coachable and have basic computer skillsMust be dependable and have a strong work ethicKnowledge of the game of golf preferredBenefits & Other Compensation:This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
