Role Description The Master Fitter is a full-time, on-site role based in Glendale, AZ, responsible for delivering expert club fitting experiences to golfers of all skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed fitting sessions, analyzing player swing data, recommending optimal club specifications, and ensuring each custom build meets PXG’s performance and quality standards. The Master Fitter will educate customers on PXG technologies, manage fitting schedules, maintain fitting equipment and demo inventory, and support sales by guiding customers through purchase decisions. This role collaborates closely with retail and operations teams, maintains accurate fitting records, and contributes feedback to help refine PXG products and fitting processes.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of golf equipment, club specifications, and fitting principles, with the ability to interpret launch monitor data and swing metrics.Experience delivering customer-facing services in a retail, golf, or sports performance environment, with a focus on premium client experience.Effective communication and active listening skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible terms.Solid organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple fittings, follow-ups, and equipment logistics throughout the day.Comfort working with technology and fitting tools (e.g., launch monitors, fitting software, point-of-sale systems).Ability to stand for extended periods, handle golf equipment safely, and work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.Prior professional club fitting, golf coaching, or related golf industry experience is highly beneficial.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in golf instruction, club fitting, or sports performance are a plus.
