About Kennett Square Golf & Country ClubNestled in the rolling hills of southern Chester County, Kennett Square Golf & Country Club is one of the region's premier private clubs. Our amenities include an 18-hole Donald Ross-designed golf course, Olympic-sized swimming pool, 7 total tennis courts (4 Hard-tru 3 Hard courts) , four platform tennis courts, and an exciting expansion to include two dedicated pickleball courts in Spring 2027.

We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and team-oriented Head Racquets Professional who is excited to grow within a premier private club environment. This position is ideal for a motivated professional looking to take the next step toward becoming a future Director of Racquets while helping expand an already successful and innovative racquets program.
Position ResponsibilitiesThe Head Racquets Professional will work closely with the Director of Racquets to provide exceptional programming and member experiences across tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball.
Responsibilities include:
Provide high-quality private, semi-private, and group instruction in tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball.Lead and assist with Women's Cup and USTA teams, including practices, lineups, player development, and ladder management.Develop and maintain a strong private lesson clientele.Design and implement junior player development curriculum.Organize and oversee junior programming, including year-round clinics, summer camps, junior teams, and special events.Collaborate with the Director of Racquets on programming, scheduling, budgeting, and the annual event calendar.Foster a welcoming, energetic, and professional atmosphere for members of all ages and abilities.Mentor and support fellow racquets professionals while helping build a positive team culture.Continue professional growth through education, certifications, and teaching development.Assist in maintaining the appearance and quality of the racquets facilities, including courts, pro shop, paddle hut, and surrounding areas.Help organize and participate in Men's Platform Tennis Interclub competition.Promote pro shop sales including racquets, paddles, apparel, footwear, accessories, and equipment.Perform racquet and paddle services including stringing, gripping, customization, and equipment recommendations.Our MissionThe mission of the Kennett Square Golf & Country Club Racquets Department is to provide a comprehensive racquets program that meets the needs of every member while creating an environment built on engagement, community, inclusion, and exceptional member experiences.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess:
Minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience in a private club environment.Strong tennis teaching background with platform tennis and pickleball experience preferred.Passion for racquet sports and building club community.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented department.Strong work ethic with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events.Creative problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset.Current RSPA, PTR, or equivalent teaching certification.Compensation & BenefitsKennett Square Golf & Country Club offers a highly competitive compensation package including:
