Assistant Director of Golf

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Assistant Director of Golf to join our team! You will provide high-level administrative support for the Director of Golf at our company. Golf Operations Assist in overseeing daily golf operations (tee sheets, pace of play, cart management)Ensure a high level of member/guest service on and off the courseEnforce club policies, rules of golf, and etiquetteHandle customer concerns and resolve issues professionallyStaff Management Supervise and schedule golf shop staff, starters, marshals, and outside servicesAssist with hiring, training, and evaluating staffLead shifts and act as Manager on Duty when the Director is absentPromote a positive, professional team cultureTournaments & Events Plan, organize, and execute tournaments, leagues, and special eventsPrepare pairings, scoring, rules sheets, and prize distributionCoordinate with food & beverage and maintenance teams for eventsMember & Guest Relations Build strong relationships with members and repeat guestsPromote club programs, events, and servicesRepresent the club in a professional and welcoming mannerHelpful Experience (Not Required) 3–7 years of experience in golf operations or golf managementPrior experience as an Assistant Golf ProfessionalExperience managing tournaments, leagues, and golf eventsRetail and POS system experience (e.g., GolfNow, ForeUp, Jonas, Club Prophet)Operational Knowledge Strong understanding of Rules of Golf and handicapping systems (GHIN)Knowledge of pace-of-play management and course setup\\Physical & Schedule Requirements Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weatherAbility to lift and carry golf equipment (typically up to 40 lbs)Personal Traits Commonly Sought Strong organizational and time-management skillsAttention to detailTeam-oriented leadership stylePassion for the game of golfCompany DescriptionWe are a professionally managed golf facility committed to providing an exceptional experience for members and guests through outstanding course conditions, high service standards, and a team-focused culture that values integrity, leadership, and continuous improvement.Company DescriptionWe are a professionally managed golf facility committed to providing an exceptional experience for members and guests through outstanding course conditions, high service standards, and a team-focused culture that values integrity, leadership, and continuous improvement.
