Description
The Pro Shop Attendant ensures inside components of golf operations is facilitated. This specifically relates to customer check in, customer booking, pro shop cleanliness, along with other responsibilities to maintain a professional Pro Shop.
Essential Functions
• Meets and greets all guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Ensure pro shop is stocked of merchandise in a presentable way.
• Coordinates with Cart Staff to maintain a consistent level of cart availability and to ensure guests are following the rules.
• Communicates to Course Attendant about any changes to the tee sheet or any updates that need to be addressed on the course.
• Ability to explain golf products and services and other information about Bailey Park Golf Club to all guests.
• Work with Assistant Golf Professional in setup and execution of tournaments and outings.
• Refer all problems/complaints to a manager and/or assistant manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required by management.

This work requires the regular exertion of up to 10 pounds of force and frequent exertion of up to 25 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, bending, reaching, hand dexterity (grasping, holding, keyboarding, repetitive movements), reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, seeing (near and/or far, color, depth, field of vision), hearing, using the telephone, contact with government officials and the general public, and working inside and alone. Work regularly requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally requires wet, humid conditions (non-weather) and working near moving mechanical parts; work is generally in a moderately noisy location.
