THE JOB / Event Executive (Golf Sponsorships & Partnerships) (Luxury Automotive Client)

EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.

Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in the office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL.***

We are seeking an Event Executive to execute a national, grassroots golf program and help activate various partnerships across the golf landscape. This role is part of a larger team that manages the client’s many partnerships across the golf industry including title sponsorship of a PGA TOUR event, strategic media partners and brand activations with other golf-related entities.

The Event Executive will work closely with the Experiential Manager and Group Director to position the client’s brand as best-in-class within the sport. This role presents a unique opportunity to manage the client’s grassroots golf program and grow a network of connections within the world of golf. The ideal candidate will have experience in event management and a proven track record of building relationships with key stakeholders.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

Manage the day-to-day operations of the client’s grassroots golf program made up of 36 local qualifiers hosted throughout the U.S.

This includes registering local dealerships, scheduling events with golf courses, event management and logistics and program reportingSupport planning and execution of activations related to the client’s PGA TOUR event sponsorshipKeep a pulse on golf industry trends and marketing tacticsManage client’s customer concierge inbox of inquiries about client’s programs with support from the Account TraineeSupport the development of creative assets and consumer communicationsUse problem solving skills to address client challenges with impactful solutionsSupport weekly status calls and other key meetings with both internal and external constituents and take notes as necessaryServe as a trusted and reliable agency contact for clients, internal colleagues and brand partnersManage inventory of client sponsorship assets and activation materials throughout the yearSupport vehicle logistics related to client’s sponsorships and activations including onsite support where necessaryEnsure various partners are aligned and informed on timelines, as well as keep projects moving alongside target dates and budgetsSupervision Account Trainee and/or temporary staff, when applicable

Who We’re Looking For

1-2 years of marketing/sponsorship experienceExperience with professional/amateur golf and/or event managementEagerness to make an overall account contribution with new partnerships and projectsStrong communication, writing and client service skillsExcellent organizational skills with acute attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointFlexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel: Moderate (20-45%)

This position pays $40,000, is overtime-eligible and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
