Food and Beverage Utility and Event Setup Worker
The Food and Beverage Utility and Event Setup Worker ensures the cleanliness and organization of both guest dining spaces and back-of-house kitchen areas. This role balances physical event coordination with heavy sanitation and maintenance duties to support the entire Food and Beverage team.
Daily Duties & Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination
Setup: Arrange tables, chairs, staging, and buffets accurately according to specific floor plans.
Breakdown: Dismantle event spaces safely and efficiently following event instructions.
Waste Management & Sanitation
Trash Removal: Collect, empty, and transport all kitchen and dining area trash and recyclables to outdoor dumpsters.
Power Washing: Wash, sanitize, and deep-clean indoor and outdoor trash cans regularly to prevent odor.
Kitchen & Facility Maintenance
Equipment Cleaning: Assist the Food and Beverage team with heavy-duty cleaning and degreasing of ovens, grills, stovetops, and hoods.
Groundskeeping: Keep outdoor entryways and storage areas clear, clean, and free of debris.
Job Requirements
Physical Stamina: Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted (tables, chairs, trash bins).
Mobility: Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, early mornings, late nights, and holidays.
Valid Driver's License: Required to safely drive utility vehicles for trash removal.
Teamwork: Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude when assisting kitchen staff and managers.
Compensation & Hours
Starting Pay: $12.00 per hour.
Schedule: Part-Time (25–30 hours per week).
Growth: Potential to transition into a Full-Time position based on performance.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
