SUPERVISES: Service Staff
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintains exemplary communication with staff and members, knows members by name, anticipates and attends to their needs, and consistently delivers a high-quality dining experience.
Assign sections, opening duties, and seating charts ahead of staff arrival.
Ensure the dining rooms are clean, well-stocked, and properly set up before and after each service.
Communicate all pertinent shift information during the pre-shift lineup.
Assign and oversee closing tasks, confirming that the Clubhouse is secured at the end of each night.
Act as the primary point of contact during service and facilitate communication between the service staff and the kitchen staff.
Coordinate and maintain reservations, supporting a seamless member experience.
Assist with menu and feature changes, ensuring the point-of-sale system is updated accordingly.
Ensure timely resolution of issues or complaints and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Create schedules for service staff, communicate scheduling needs, and monitor service staff attendance.
Coordinate with the Food & Beverage Manager on all events, providing administrative support prior to the event and assisting with execution on the event day.
Assist with onboarding and training new service staff, ensuring training manuals are current.
Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and efficiently maintained.
Ensure all federal, state, and local laws, health and safety regulations, and liquor licensing requirements are followed.
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS: Hospitality or business management degree desirable.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: Several years of experience in the food service industry with proven management experience.
