Stowe Mountain Course and Stowe Country Club — two of Vermont’s premier private 18‑hole golf destinations — are building their summer greenskeeping crews, and you could be part of the team that keeps these iconic courses looking spectacular!
Key Responsibilities
Mow greens, tees, aprons, approaches, and rough areas
Rake sand traps manually and with power rakes
Aerify, verticut and spike greens and tees
Operate equipment, including sod cutters, rotary mowers, loaders, dump trucks, and portable pumps
Perform daily equipment checks and basic preventive maintenance
Conduct basic preventive maintenance as directed
Change pins and tee markers
Remove debris and haul materials as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Communicate course irregularities to supervisors
Interact professionally with club members, guests, and colleagues
Season Dates: April 1 st - November 16 th , 2026 (start & end dates are flexible)
Pay Range: $23.50 - $29.00 per hour based on merit and experience.
Schedule: Early‑morning shifts; minimum of 10 hours per week
Qualifications
Previous golf course maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping experience preferred
Familiarity with operating small engines or turf maintenance equipment
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
