Job Summary The Grounds Crew Laborer is part of the Agronomy Team at Jackson Country Club. This position includes all aspects of daily and short-term maintenance related to maintaining a championship level golf course, such as operating equipment related to mowing golf course putting greens, tees, fairways, and rough. As well as weed eating, raking bunkers, landscape maintenance, sod work, etc..

Duties
Operating riding mower equipment
Raking Bunkers
Operating small power tools ex: blowers, edger’s, and trimmers
Hand trimming around sprinklers and valves
Sod work
Filling of divots
Pulling weeds in maintained and native areas
Various shoveling and raking projects
Cleaning of equipment and maintenance areas
Operating mechanical loaders to move soil, debris, and other materials
He or she must have reliable transportation to and from work
Requires ability to safely operate trucks and motorized equipment
Skills
Work extended hours, which includes weekend and holiday shifts
Must have a friendly and positive personality
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
Knowledge about the game of golf preferred
