Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Superintendent, Golf Course, to join our team and help elevate the quality and beauty of our golf facility. In this vital role, you will assist in overseeing daily operations related to landscape maintenance, turf management, and course aesthetics. Duties Assist in managing daily landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to maintain optimal turf health and appearance Supervise and coordinate landscaping projects such as planting, tree care, irrigation installation, and construction work to enhance course features Oversee lawn care routines to ensure consistent quality across all areas of the golf course Lead a team of groundskeepers and landscapers by providing clear instructions, training, and support to promote high standards of maintenance Conduct regular inspections of the course to identify areas needing attention or repair and implement appropriate solutions Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or turf management within a large outdoor environment Supervising experience with a track record of leading teams effectively in outdoor settings Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, horticulture principles, and gardening techniques Familiarity with construction processes related to golf course development or renovation projects Understanding of irrigation systems operation and troubleshooting skills Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks related to landscaping equipment and tools Excellent leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team motivation Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Join us as we cultivate excellence on our golf course!
