Position Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing listsAccurately pick, pack, and ship customer and internal ordersMaintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and system updatesOperate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up lifts (as certified)Stage and load outbound shipments for carriers and internal transfersIdentify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortagesMaintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areasFollow all safety procedures and company policiesSupport peak operations and assist other departments as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or GED1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferredBasic computer skills and experience with inventory or WMS systemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsForklift and material-handling equipment certificationExperience with shipping carriers and freight coordinationKnowledge of inventory control best practicesPrior experience in a fast-paced or high-volume warehouse environmentSkills & CompetenciesTime management and organizationProblem-solving and communication skillsDependability and strong work ethicCommitment to safety and quality standards
