Golf Course Superintendent

Golf Course Maintenance Supervisor Oversee and maintain turf and playing conditions to the highest level possible by direction of staff scheduling, landscape management, chemical applications, irrigation management, and special cultural practices.

Supervise, coordinate, train, and schedule daily assignments and projects conducted by the golf course staff.

Maintain certification in pesticide application by the appropriate regulatory agency. Apply fertilizer and chemicals to the golf course as conditions dictate i.e. fertilizers, applications, top dressing and aerification.

Monitor all financial responsibilities including but not limited to daily expenditures, inventory control, purchasing, monthly and quarterly budgeting, and the yearly budgeting process.

Oversee golf course equipment maintenance, inventory, and purchasing programs.

Job Requirements Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree or one to two years of related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of the two. Three to Five years experience in Golf Course Maintenance. Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree or one to two years of related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of the two. Three to Five years experience in Golf Course Maintenance.

Requirements - Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. - Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. - Must possess basic computational ability. - Knowledge of computer programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis. - Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including but not limited to, assignment of duties, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessary. - Knowledge of Golf Operations - Must attend the Monthly Board Meeting

Salary Range From $60,000 to $70,000 per year
