Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Golf Course General Manager / Golf Professional to lead and elevate our prestigious golf facility. This dynamic role combines strategic management with hands-on expertise in golf operations, customer service, and hospitality. As the driving force behind delivering exceptional guest experiences, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, coordinate events, and ensure the highest standards of service are maintained. Your leadership will inspire a welcoming environment for members, guests, and tournament participants alike while promoting the growth and reputation of our resort’s golf offerings.
Duties
Lead the overall management of the golf course, including operations, staffing, and guest services to ensure a seamless experience for all visitors
Develop and execute innovative events management strategies such as tournaments, corporate outings, and special functions to boost engagement and revenue
Supervise daily course maintenance schedules in collaboration with groundskeeping teams to uphold course quality standards
Provide expert golf instruction and coaching to players of all skill levels, fostering skill development and enjoyment
Manage guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive atmosphere at all times
Handle cash transactions accurately, including tee time bookings, retail sales, and event registrations
Promote hospitality excellence by creating a welcoming environment that emphasizes guest satisfaction and personalized service
Experience
Proven management experience within a resort or golf club environment with a focus on operations oversight and team leadership
Strong background in events management, including planning and executing tournaments or large-scale functions
Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Knowledge of golf instruction techniques or certification as a PGA Professional is highly desirable
Experience working in a hospitality or resort setting with an emphasis on guest services and guest relations

Pay: $53,180.66 - $64,045.52 per year
