Youth Sports Coach - Golf

## Youth Sports Coach (Golf) at TGA Premier Sports TGA Premier Sports brings a national, school-based enrichment program to children ages 3–14 across Wake and Durham counties. We are looking for coaches who genuinely enjoy working with kids. If you bring the energy, patience, and ability to connect with children, we will teach you the sport. TGA provides a full curriculum and training, so prior coaching experience is not required. ### Who This Job Is Great For This flexible, part-time role is perfect for college students, stay-at-home parents, retirees, teachers, part-time workers, or anyone with a flexible schedule who loves working with kids. We are hiring instructors to begin training and start teaching classes for our Winter and Spring seasons. ### Soft Skills & Personality You should have a strong passion for working with kids and helping them grow. Be willing to step out of your comfort zone, be playful, and engage like a kid when needed. Great communication skills are important — you’ll need to respond quickly to messages from administrators and clearly communicate how classes went. A positive, reliable, professional attitude and a genuine passion for sports, movement, and keeping kids active are essential. ### Experience While experience working with children in any setting (schools, camps, babysitting, volunteering, etc.) is valued, no prior coaching experience is required. We provide all curriculum and training for golf. That said, having experience with the sport you coach is preferred. ### Availability & Logistics Most classes take place on school campuses during after-school hours, typically between 2:00–5:00 PM. You should have afternoon availability (around 2:30–5:30 PM) for 2–5 days per week. Shifts are usually short, ranging from 1 to 3 hours per day. You must have reliable transportation and the ability and willingness to transport equipment to and from class.
