About the Role
Server Position at Raleigh Country ClubRaleigh Country Club is seeking servers to join our team and provide food and beverage service to club members and guests.

Responsibilities include:
Setting up side station and performing assigned side work.Providing immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.Ensuring that children are in the appropriate type of seat and are safe and secure.Distributing food and wine menus; answering questions.Filling glasses with ice water and suggesting menu items.Ensuring that the correct account numbers and names are given for billing.Efficiently serving food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, offering suggestions on daily specials and wine selections.Placing orders with kitchen; informing cooks about any special cooking instructions.Assembling food on tray; procuring items from each station as necessary.Serving meals; placing dishes by courses in front of each person.Checking back to ensure member and guest satisfaction; replenishing water and butter as necessary.Removing soiled dishes. Clearing tables after each course and resetting them with appropriate silverware.Presenting dessert menus, suggesting and serving dessert, coffee and after-dinner drinks.Verifying accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks.Presenting the bill.Handling all member charge and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.Keeping dining room, pool cabana, and bus station areas clean.Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables that have been vacated.Advising supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.Performing clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.Attending pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dining Room Manager or other Food and Beverage Manager.Turning in signed tip declaration form as appropriate.Thanks members and guests; inviting them to return.Consistently following local and state laws and the club's policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.Performing other appropriate duties assigned by Assistant Clubhouse Manager or other Food and Beverage Manager.Qualifications include:
Grade 12 education.Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred.The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills.Greet and acknowledge members and guests.Is knowledgeable about the menu, buffet and wine list.Ability to time the service of each course.Learns members' names and their special preferences.Knowledge of wines and spirits.Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.Food safety certification.Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.Alcoholic beverage certification.Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.Continuous repetitive motions.Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.Salary range: USD $12.00 - USD $14.00 /Hr.
