Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their visit
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
Assist with product demonstrations and explain features of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and organizing inventory
Upsell products by recommending items that meet customer needs and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders over the phone
Conduct product demos to educate customers about new merchandise or equipment
Support retail sales efforts through effective communication skills and friendly engagement
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, especially in a grocery store or similar environment
Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transactions
Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in a retail setting
Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse clientele
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
Knowledge of golf products or sporting goods is beneficial but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends
Attention to detail in merchandising, stock management, and maintaining a clean shop environment
