### **Overview** North Jersey Country Club is a private 18-hole facility that was founded in 1895. In addition to the Walter Travis designed championship golf course, members and guests enjoy state of the art amenities including: practice facilities, tennis, paddle, pool, and gym. NJCC is located in Wayne, NJ and is only 20 miles from downtown Manhattan. Applicant will be employed from March 15 to November 1. ### **Experience Required** Experience Required - At least 1 years of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional, Class A PGA member preferred - Must have strong customer, communication and interpersonal skills - Cleanliness and organization a must - Dress and act in a professional manner - Exceptional knowledge of the game of golf - Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Publisher, etc. - Experience with the Golf Genius Tournament Software and GHIN. ### **Essential Responsibilities** Essential Responsibilities - Assist in the daily operation of the proshop, including the display of merchandise, POS and member interactions - Monitor inventory and report to accounting office on a monthly basis - Work closely with the caddie master to ensure the success of our outside operations - Train and supervise all personal in the golf operation as directed by the Head Professional - Execute all club tournaments as well as Monday Outings - Monitor all aspects of play including starting and pace of play - Professionally and respectfully enforce the Rules and Regulations set forth by the club - Co-Captain of our PGA Junior League Team - Private lessons as well as clinics and summer junior golf camps - Provide club fittings - Work Monday Outings - Play with members and NJPGA Section events when time is available ### **Benefits** Benefits - Housing on site available - Meals provided while working - Health and dental insurance after 60 days - 401k company match program after 1 year - Clothing allowance - Club pays annual PGA dues and Tournament Expenses
