Job Title: Hostess/Host, Fireside Restaurant
Reports to: Restaurant Manager/Dining Services Manager
Rate: $17/hr
Timeframe: Part-time, Wednesdays through Saturdays from 3pm-9:15pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking a polished, personable, and detail-oriented Host/Hostess to join our fine dining team at the Fireside Restaurant on property. As the first and last point of contact for our members and guests, this role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience reflective of our club’s high standards of service, hospitality, and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome members and guests upon arrival, using names whenever possible to create a personalized experience.Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists with efficiency and attention to flow of service.Escort members and guests to tables and present menus in a professional manner.Maintain clear communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.Answer phone calls, handle reservation inquiries, and provide accurate information about dining offerings and club events.Monitor dining room activity to ensure proper pacing and guest satisfaction; helping to serve tables and clear tables as needed.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area.Uphold club standards for appearance, etiquette, and confidentiality at all times.
Education and Experience:
Previous experience in a host/hostess or guest-facing role preferred, ideally within a fine dining or hospitality environment.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Professional appearance and demeanor.Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
