About the position As an Assistant Golf Professional at Pinewood Country Club, you will be a key member of the golf operations team. Responsibilities Assist with golfer check-in, fee collection, tee sheet management, and ensuring smooth flow of play.Assist with managing outside service staff to ensure the highest quality of member and guest service.Participate in daily inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining a professional and organized golf shop.Ensure proper staging and upkeep of the cart fleet, practice facilities, and other daily operational areas.Assist with all aspects of tournament operations and weekly events, including:\no Event planning, setup and execution\no Course setup and preparation\no Scoring and results management\no Prize distribution and post-event billing\no Event promotion and communicationPerform golf club repair services, including regripping.Play golf rounds with Members and interclub matches.Ability to provide golf instruction to players of all skill levels in both private and group settings.Requirements Prior Private Golf Course Experience is strongly preferredStrong teaching skillsExperience at a respected, high-end private club is preferred.A professional track record marked by integrity, consistent employment stability, and commitment to previous employers.Knowledge of best practices in top-performing, high member-satisfaction private golf operations.Strong interpersonal and team-building skills with the ability to foster a culture of service excellence.A positive, upbeat attitude with a sense of humor and approachability.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and experience with Jonas POS and Golf Genius Tournament Software.Leadership abilities with a strong desire to pursue or continue PGA membership.A passion for delivering excellence in all aspects of the club’s golf operation, including team development and member service.Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality and member satisfaction.Keen attention to follow-up and oversight of all golf operation areas, especially outside services, course access, and golf shop retail.Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to engage with women, men, and junior golfers, actively participating in programs and events.Benefits Complimentary meals while on dutyUniform allowanceOpportunities for professional development and advancement within the clubFull playing and practice privilegesOn-site housing available for \$600 per month, including internet, cable, and utilities.Due to being seasonal, this position does not come with health insurance.
