Functions
Performs duties as directed by the superintendent and/or assistant superintendent Operates a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools to carry out tasks such as, but not limited to, weed eating, edging, blowing and pruning. Course setup and daily course preparation Maintains bunkers, bunker surrounds, pond banks, creeks and fence lines Mows areas as instructed with various forms of push and riding mowers Keeps golf course, grounds, and structures clean and presentable Assists in repair projects/improvements such as drainage and irrigation repair and installation of sodding and seeding Tree and shrub planting, pruning, and removal, leaf/debris removal and under-brushing Spot sprays weeds and applies fertilizers on golf course and grounds Reports problems concerning equipment to the equipment manager, superintendent or assistant superintendent Keeps all equipment, transport vehicles, restrooms, break room, and maintenance facility clean and presentable
