Job Overview
Royal Scot Golf Course is seeking seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Crew members to help maintain the quality, playability, and appearance of our course. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in golf course maintenance, athletic fields, or landscape maintenance who are interested in expanding their skills within golf course operations.
We are willing to train the right candidate in golf-specific maintenance practices, with clear opportunities for advancement into Assistant Superintendent and leadership roles for high-performing team members.
Responsibilities
Perform daily golf course and grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and detail work
Operate and maintain mowing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently
Assist with irrigation system operation and basic troubleshooting
Support course setup and seasonal maintenance projects
Identify turf, landscape, or course issues and report them to supervisors
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet course standards and deadlines
Requirements
Minimum age: 16 years old
Valid driver’s license required
Prior experience in golf course maintenance, athletic field maintenance, or landscape maintenance preferred
Willingness to learn golf course–specific practices and equipment
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and extended periods of walking or standing
