The Pro Shop Attendant plays a critical role in the overall success of the golf operation, working closely with the Professional Staff, Membership, and Resort Guests to ensure a first-class experience. Turf Valley is home to 500+ golf members, with annual rounds exceeding 47,000 across our two 18-hole championship golf courses. This position is part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on experience and performance throughout the season. This opportunity is open to individuals who have a true passion for the game of golf, whether you are exploring it as a future career path or simply want to remain closely involved in the enjoyment and tradition of the game. ### **Experience Required** - Retail or merchandising experience preferred (golf industry experience a plus) - Must be available March 15 through November 30 on a yearly basis - Previous experience working at a golf facility or related industry preferred - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with Members, Guests, and Staff - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays - Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, golf course management software (e.g., Visage Golf, Golf Genius, Tee sheet software systems) a plus ### **Essential Responsibilities** ### **Essential Responsibilities** - Deliver exceptional, high-end customer service to Members and Guests in a professional resort environment - Assist with daily merchandising, display standards, and overall presentation of the Golf Shop - Support Professional Staff with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security standards - Coordinate closely with the Professional Staff to ensure smooth daily golf operations - Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of tournaments and events - Greet and check in Members and Guests, ensuring accurate tee time management and a welcoming experience - Operate and manage the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, including: - Processing merchandise and green fee transactions - Handling member charges and payments accurately - Maintaining organized and accurate transaction records - Answer phones and assist with tee times, inquiries, and general golf operation communication - Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Pro Shop environment at all times - Provide support across all areas of the golf operation as needed to ensure a seamless member and guest experience ### **Benefits** - Competitive compensation for Pro Shop Attendant - Professional uniform allowance and P.U.D. availability - Playing and practice privileges on two championship golf courses - Opportunity to work in a first-class golf and resort environment alongside experienced PGA Professional
