F&B Server Job Description
Job Summary
As a Server, provide an excellent guest dining experience focused on food presentation and serving. Handle cashier transactions and event set up.
Responsibilities
Complete required set-up/preparation of area prior to scheduled activity
Inspect all equipment prior to, during and at the end of each shift
Report any deviations from standards to manager/supervisor
Inventory materials and supplies at beginning of shift
Obtain necessary supplies to support all levels of business
Prepare coffee, iced/hot tea and other beverages as required
Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations
Check all plates prior to service for accuracy, completeness, appearance and presentation
Serve food to guests following Service Standards
Properly open and pour wine at the table-side
Record all aspects of guests orders accurately
Perform cashier functions (sales, receipts, accepting payments, transactions)
Monitor guests, anticipates needs, responds to requests, ensures satisfaction
Monitor guests alcohol consumption to prevent indulgence/ensure safety
Clear tables/ reset area after completion of food service activity
Perform basic cleaning tasks daily / added projects as directed by supervisor
Complete assigned end of shift duties
Assist with special events
Become ServSafe
Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighing up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand, stoop and bend during entire shift
Must meet and exceed F&B Sales Goals
Must keep a quick pace which reflects the needs of the business
Must Demonstrate a high standard of organization & cleaning standards at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.98 per hour

Education:
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
• Food Service: 1 year (Required)
• Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Required)
