About the Role
Job Summary
The Outside Services team member is responsible for the daily maintenance, appearance, and playability of the golf course. This position supports all aspects of golf course operations, including equipment operation, turfgrass care, irrigation assistance, and seasonal projects. Work is performed under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Golf Course Superintendents.
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough according to established standards
Maintain and rake bunkers to ensure proper playability and appearance
Assist with daily course setup, including cup cutting, tee marker placement, and repair of divots or course damage
Operate and properly maintain maintenance equipment and tools
Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and soil treatments as directed by the Superintendent
Assist with irrigation system repairs and maintenance
Remove debris and maintain overall course cleanliness
Perform string trimming (weed eating) around trees, cart paths, pond edges, and landscaped areas

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work early mornings, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels.
Ability to perform assigned duties in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
