The Head Golf Professional will be responsible for overseeing the entire golf program, including staff management, member services, golf events, and maintaining high standards of operations. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent organizational, communication, and management skills.</p><p> </p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>· Manage golf shop operations, including customer service (checking in golfers/booking tee times) and marketing/advertising.</p><p>· Host and organize tournaments, creating engaging and traditional events.</p><p>· Develop and run clinics, lessons, and junior camps throughout the season.</p><p>· Foster a strong workplace culture and provide exceptional experience for customers.</p><p>· Lead golf operations, ensuring high standards for member and employee satisfaction.</p><p>· Oversee fiscal responsibilities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all golf areas.</p><p>· Implement strategies to promote a positive workplace, enhance employee retention, and improve member satisfaction.</p><p>· Hire, train, and evaluate golf operations staff.</p><p>· Communicate effectively with members, promoting new merchandise, upcoming events, course maintenance schedules, and staff achievements through various channels like newsletters.</p><p> </p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>· Proven experience as Head Golf Professional or in a similar leadership role within a golf course or resort.</p><p>· Strong knowledge of golf operations, including tournament organization and member services.</p><p>· Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.</p><p>· PGA membership or equivalent professional certification preferred.</p>
