Barback and Bartender

Duties Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, restocking supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area through regular cleaning and bar cleaning tasks Buss tables promptly and efficiently to ensure a tidy dining environment and quick turnaround for new guests Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients for cocktails or light snacks in compliance with food safety standards Manage manual handling duties including heavy lifting of supplies, kegs, or equipment safely and efficiently Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision Maintain high standards of food handling and beverage service safety protocols in accordance with venue beverage service regulations Support catering and banquet events by assisting with setup, serving, and cleanup to ensure seamless event execution Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly Skills Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, bars, hotels, or catering venues Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Knowledge of bar experience including barista skills or venue beverage service techniques Familiarity with POS systems like Shopify POS for efficient order processing and cashiering Ability to perform food handling tasks safely while adhering to food industry standards and venue safety protocols Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing long hours, and manual handling tasks throughout shifts Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact confidently with guests Experience in cleaning, bussing tables, kitchen work, or banquet setup is highly desirable Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to grow your career in a lively environment where every shift is an opportunity to shine!
