About the Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Breakfast Cook to complement our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast dishes and helping with staff meal. Your expertise in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety will ensure that every morning service runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist in preparing staff meal for our 40+ staff members. served in a newly remodeled staff room
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Ensure all food safety standards are followed, including proper knife skills, food handling procedures, and hygiene protocols.
Support food service operations by plating dishes attractively and serving them promptly to guests or staff.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably with dietary department or dietary aide experience.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques essential for breakfast dishes.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance.
