Athletic Program Assistant - Golf

Golf Program Assistant starts August 15, 2026. The Program Assistant Coach supports the overall success of the athletic program by assisting the head coach with supervision, organization, communication, and day-to-day operations. This position helps create a safe, positive, and accountable environment for student-athletes while allowing the head coach to focus on instruction, skill development, and team performance. Responsibilities may include supervising athletes before, during, and after practices and contests, assisting with attendance and eligibility monitoring, communicating expectations with families and athletes, and helping coordinate team logistics. The Program Assistant Coach serves as a positive role model who promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and the values of the Williamson athletic program. Job Qualifications Valid New York State Physical Education teacher certification or valid New York State coaching certification though NYSED TEACH. Knowledge and background in the assigned sport. Previous coaching experience in the assigned sport is desired. Current First Aid/CPR certification.
