Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Golf Course in Hamilton, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview: The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent works closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to maintain and improve the golf course, grounds, and surrounding landscape areas to the highest standards of quality, playability, appearance, and safety. This position assists with daily golf course operations, turfgrass management, irrigation, chemical applications, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, hands-on professional with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for golf course maintenance and agronomy.

Requirements Previous golf course maintenance, turfgrass, landscaping, or related experience preferred. Knowledge of turfgrass maintenance practices and basic agronomic principles. Experience operating turf maintenance equipment preferred. Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and troubleshooting preferred. Ability to safely handle and apply fertilizers and pesticides. Valid driver’s license required. Pesticide applicator’s license/certification, or the ability to obtain one, preferred. Turfgrass, horticulture, agronomy, or related education preferred but not required. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality playing conditions.

Compensation $60,000 to $65,000 per year.
