Dining Room Server Country Club of Spartanburg Reports To: Dining Room Manager The Country Club of Spartanburg is seeking experienced evening servers to join our dining room team. We are proud to offer an intimate, family-oriented atmosphere where members come to relax, connect, and enjoy exceptional service each evening. We are looking for hospitality professionals who are polished, personable, dependable, and passionate about creating memorable dining experiences. Fine dining or private club experience is strongly preferred. Position Summary Provide attentive, professional food and beverage service to club members and guests while maintaining the high standards of hospitality and service expected in a private club environment. Compensation and Benefits Full-time evening position Competitive hourly pay plus tips Health benefits available 401(k) eligibility Paid time off and holiday benefits Complimentary employee meals during shifts Professional and supportive work environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of two years of serving experience in upscale dining, private club, or hospitality environments preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service preferred Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Essential Responsibilities Welcome and acknowledge members and guests promptly and professionally Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items, specials, wines, and beverages Deliver attentive and timely service throughout the dining experience Accurately enter and deliver food and beverage orders Anticipate member needs and maintain a warm, personalized service style Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room, service stations, and side work areas Clear and reset tables efficiently and according to club standards Process checks and member charges accurately Assist with dining room setup, breakdown, and closing duties Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations Communicate member feedback or concerns to management promptly Attend pre-service meetings and maintain strong teamwork with fellow staff members What We’re Looking For Professional appearance and positive attitude Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic Evening availability, including weekends and holidays A genuine passion for hospitality and member service Ability to build relationships with members and create a welcoming atmosphere Licenses & Certifications Food safety certification preferred Alcohol service certification preferred Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry trays or items up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion Ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment Why Join Our Team?
