Apply for this Job Help Keep One of the Four Corners' Premier Golf Courses in Championship Condition San Juan County is seeking a skilled and motivated Golf Course Assistant Maintenance Superintendent - Irrigation to play a critical leadership role in maintaining the beauty, playability, and health of our golf course. This hands-on supervisory position oversees the operation, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated irrigation and drainage systems while assisting with turf management, equipment maintenance, chemical applications, and daily crew supervision. Working alongside the Golf Course Maintenance Superintendent, you'll help preserve exceptional course conditions through innovative irrigation management, environmental stewardship, and industry best practices. Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or a related field is preferred. - Five (5) years of progressively responsible golf course maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience maintaining irrigation systems, pumps, drainage systems, and golf course turf. Licenses & Certifications - Valid New Mexico Pesticide Applicator License, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. - Valid New Mexico Driver's License, or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
