About the Role
Company Description
Vantage is a Cary-based startup that provides GPS screens and pace management software for golf courses. Our system helps courses improve pace of play, increase food and beverage revenue, and give golfers a better overall experience.
We are focused on building technology that is simple for course staff, useful for golfers, and affordable for courses.
Role Description
The Golf Sales Representative is a part-time, commission-only role focused on growing Vantage throughout the Raleigh-Durham golf market.
You will be responsible for reaching out to golf courses, speaking with decision-makers, presenting the Vantage system, conducting on-site demonstrations, following up with interested courses, and helping move opportunities from the first conversation through closing.
This role is primarily remote, but regular local and regional travel will be required for course visits, demonstrations, meetings, and industry events. Business mileage will be reimbursed.
You will work directly with the Vantage team to prepare proposals, answer product questions, and hand new customers off for installation and implementation.
This is a good opportunity for someone who already understands the golf industry, is comfortable building relationships, and wants to help grow an early-stage golf technology company.
