Open year round, the course puts an emphasis on fun with a combination of tight fairways and hole layout that will test the skills of any golfer. The Position | Directs and oversees all aspects of club or facility including its activities and relationships between guests, associates and community. Has the ultimate responsibility for maximum guest satisfaction and financial performance.
Bachelors degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Class A member of PGA/LPGA member. Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Regularly stands, walks and sits; occasionally may climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, taste or smell. Regularly uses hands to finger, feel or handle, reaches with arms and hands, talks or hears. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Prepare and monitor annual budget, revenue goals and expenses, and generate business volume forecasts. Monitor monthly and other financial reports/statements and take corrective action when necessary. Establish and monitor personnel policies, training, and professional development programs. Ensure all Human Resources procedures and policies are followed by management staff. Develop, maintain, and administer a sound organizational plan and initiate improvements as necessary. Maintain membership with the PGA and CMAA and attend workshops and meetings to stay current. Oversee the care and maintenance of all facility physical assets. Coordinate marketing programs to promote the facilitys services to potential customers. Ensure the highest standards for food and beverage service on property. Implement policies and procedures for multiple departments, including compliance with company standards relating to quality of products and services. Interview, hire, train, plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints and resolve problems. Directly manage department members including Head Professional(s), Golf Course Superintendent(s), Tournament Coordinator, Director of Instruction, and others. Assure effective orientation and training for each new associate and develop ongoing training programs.
