DescriptionPosition Type: Temporary / SeasonalEvent Dates: Wednesday, June 3rd – Sunday, June 7thPay Rate: $24.00 per hourPosition Overview: Riviera Country Club is seeking polished, professional, and hospitality-driven Temporary Hostesses to support Member Dining operations during a major golf tournament week.

This role will serve as the first point of contact for members and guests dining within designated member hospitality areas.Candidates should possess strong communication skills, professionalism, poise under pressure, and a warm, welcoming demeanor consistent with luxury hospitality standards.Essential Responsibilities: Greet members and guests in a professional and welcoming mannerAssist with managing dining reservations, seating flow, and waitlistsEscort members and guests to tables when appropriateMaintain awareness of dining room capacity and communicate with service staff regarding table availabilityProvide directional assistance and answer general questions regarding dining areas and event logisticsAssist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of hostess stands and entry areasCommunicate effectively with Food & Beverage leadership and service teamsUphold club standards regarding professionalism, confidentiality, and member experienceAssist with special event flow and high-volume hospitality operations during tournament weekRequirementsQualifications: Previous hostess, restaurant, hospitality, country club, hotel, or customer service experience preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanor requiredAbility to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAvailability to work all scheduled tournament dates from June 3rd through June 7th requiredWeekend availability requiredPreviously worked with us for an event is preferredSchedule:This is a temporary event-based position running: Wednesday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 7thShifts may vary based on tournament operations and dining needs.Rate of Pay: $24.00 per hourWork Environment: This position operates in a luxury private club environment during a high-profile golf tournament.
